Leaving for 5 Weeks

Don’t be alarmed if I haven’t responded to messages, or haven’t posted anything. I’m just going to take a break for the next 5 weeks in order to bring up my grades. It’s been a very difficult and stressful quarter. I am determined to turn everything around though and work harder.

I remember during Freshmen year, I told Nick that throughout our years in college…I would always make it to his Taiko Spring concert. And since that day, I’ve been going to every one<3 It’s amazing just knowing that this is the 3rd concert I’ve attended. That means…yes, next year will be the last.
Just thinking about it makes me so sad. I seriously can’t believe how fast time really does fly by. I know I say it a lot, but it’s true. I wish I were able just to stop everything for awhile and enjoy a particular moment.
It was really amazing to see him again. Watching Taiko is truly beautiful — the choreographed moves, intricate beats, synchronized patterns — I absolutely love it. Being able to feel such power and emotion through music is a wonderful thing. I’m really glad to have been able to experience it through supporting Nick.
J and I were blessed to have been able to have dinner with his family and friends afterwards. It was such a great time meeting everyone, talking, laughing. No matter how long we aren’t able to hang out, he will always be one of my best friends. He has been there through thick & thin, has seen me at my worst, helps me when I’ve done something wrong, and is always encouraging. I hate to think that we’re graduating next year, but no matter where life takes us…I know he will always be there for me.
I love you so much Nick. Thank you for all the memories, endless conversations, and adventures together<3
